This update just in from HelliSanta:
Probably starting a little earlier this year (11:30-ish) and the
starting point will be somewhere between Union Station and The
Cornfield. It's a metro year folks, so no paypal needed unless you
want to donate $ for snow, surprises, drink stops, etc. The Metro Day
Pass is $5 that day, so all you need to bring is enough for the pass,
and any food and bev needs you have for the day.....everything else you
can bring in your Santa-sack. More info (including where to send
donations) in a couple of weeks for you all. Ho!
We know you love some things about Santacon (the cacophony, the costumes, the surprises). We're keeping it cheap and accessible in 2009, and only asking for donations (of any size) for favorite experiences along the way (like, um, Snow in LA! among other things). So if you've got a job and some money to spare, send Santa some cash for fabulous surprises (we promise not to use it on hookers and blow - well not all of it at least.)
Send your donations to lasantacon at gmail dot com. We promise you've get a personal email from Santa about the start time/location. Everyone else will have to watch certain locations for Santa only information.
FAQ and Survey Results coming soon. However, Santa knows what you want and boy is Santa going to deliver. Santa challenges you to bring on the cacophony, cause it's going to be that kind of year.
Ho Ho Ho.
