If you plan to participate in Los Angeles Santacon this year, on Saturday December 6th, 2008, you will need a sleigh pass. Paypal $21 to Hellisanta before midnight December 3rd 1st, 2008 to get one.

What does this sleigh pass give me?
I thought santarchy is supposed to be free or no more than the cost of a day pass on your local transit system.

I'll gladly contribute if the organizers assure me that the media has not and will not be invited. Last year the three person Penn & Teller TV crew without santa uniforms were major buzzkill sticking their cameras within 2 feet of anyone's face as soon as we started dancing, rolling in the grass or doing any of the happy things Santas do when we get together.
Maybe 15 years ago the media was necessary to spread the spirit of Santa but who needs them now that every Santa has a pocket camera and a Flickr account?

Just look at all those happy santas on the bus. Maybe that's what the sleigh pass cash is for?

Celebrate anarchy by paying a mandatory fee! Ho ho ho...

@Josh, LA Santacon has always cost between $5 and $25. At least for the last 7-8 years.
