My Connector Fee-losophy

I am a connector. I used to joke that I'm the "glue that dries clear" but it true. I connect you with who you want/need to meet. Sometimes it’s a job. Sometimes it's an audience. Sometimes it’s an employee. Sometimes it’s money for your start-up. Sometimes it’s your new best friend.

My connections have resulted in work, projects, jobs, best friends, funding, employees, and audiences for many events. Most of these connections I have done with the “pay it forward” philosophy not crediting the time and effort I have spent building these connections in my diverse, high integrity network.

These connections are extremely valuable to the parties I connect. Connecting people is a service I provide. So in that spirit, I am announcing my recommended Connector Fee-losophy. These fees are guidelines; however I'd ask you, What is the connection I facilitated worth to you?

Often, it’s priceless.

A Successful Connection

Did I find that needle in a Haystack for you? If a connection I facilitated resulted in financial gain – a 10% referral fee is recommended. If I helped your company find money/funding, contracts/projects, your perfect employee – what is that worth?

“A generous fee can encourage other lead opportunities from that party. The amount of the fee is somewhat determined by the quality of the lead.”

If your company can not give out financial referrals, there are ways you can thank me for the service I provided. Refer my services to your network and help me get work, send me a generous gift certificate to dinner at a nice restaurant.

Bottom line: What benefit have you gained from the connection I facilitated?

Personal Referral

Maybe I introduced you to your perfect someone - job hire, co-founder, designer?

If you're not be in a position to give a traditional finder’s fee, might I suggest a token thank you amount? Or return the favor with a public thank you and recommendation of my services?

Promotion/Events

I have helped many events get started. I only promote events that I believe in. If my promotion has helped make your event successful (for either long or short term) consider a token thank you, a public thank you and recommendation.

If you would like me to promote or organize a local event for you company introducing  you to my network, consider the financial value of the pre-qualified contacts I bring to the table. I have spent years creating this network and provide a valuable service in connecting you with them.

The Bottom Line

I love connecting people and helping their dreams come true. I have been reluctant to charge for these services, belittling the enormous value this service provides. However, it is my own dreams that have convinced me to enact this connector fee-losophy. Wuffie doesn't pay the bills, no matter how much of it you have.

What can you give in return for I am doing for you?

Please Note:  I do not refer specific people or companies in exchange for payment.
